About

(This page features the History of Adventure Time from 2nd quarter 2007, onward.)

Adventure Time, Horde Guild of Jubei’Thos as it is known now was re-formed in 2007 by Bigmary after an unsuccessful attempt at merging with the guild Kairotic.  Adventure Time is the longest surviving and active casual/social guild on the server. The previous Guild Masters had left Bigmary in charge of Adventure Time mid-merger, and when the new guild had become very clear that players were expected to talent-spec a certain way, removed immediately if anything came up not allowing them to raid, and simply put anti-social, many players returned to Adventure Time, opting not to split.  On that note, we are a casual, or medium-core guild, meaning that we do a bit of everything, both PvE and PvP in our guild with players that WANT to do that.  We basically felt that players should be allowed to have fun, be able to communicate and be social with one another, and no one should be outright forced to do anything they don’t want to do.  We also felt jokes in poor taste, making fun of cripples, AIDS, and general South-Park-style humor shouldn’t just be allowed but also encouraged.  Therefore we allow the talk of mature, adult, uncensored discussion and those who are easily offended should not join our guild.

Since then our guild has flourished and grown from that time, in both membership and the types of things we are able to do.  We’ve grown to be able to raid very constantly with several .  We have an excellent inner core of players who believe in helping each other out whenever we can.  But we also have a lot of fun making jokes about Smegma (it’s an actual guild rank), deformed people, and burn victims.  We’ve merged with other guilds such as WHITECLOUD and Protectors of the Horde.

But the fun certainly does not end there.  We have big plans for our guild to push forward in raiding, PVP, making jokes that would make members of the Vatican cry, and getting our crazy no-life-having asses to Level 85 when Cataclysm is released.  So the Adventure shall continue.
